Band capostipite della New York No Wave che imperversò durante gli anni ottanta, tornano ora in scena con un nuovo brano estratto da “The Seer” album di prossima uscita. L’album “My Father Will Guide Me up a Rope to the Sky” ha segnato nel 2010 il ritorno in attività della band dopo una lunga pausa che durava fin dal 1997.

Il nuovo album degli Swans, intitolato “The Seer” è anticipato in questi giorni dal singolo “Mother of the world”, brano di dieci minuti reso disponibile per l’ascolto da NPR al seguente link. L’album è previsto per il 28 agosto prossimo, distribuito tramite i maggiori rivenditori online e ovviamente nei negozi di dischi.
